Bisphenol A polyether polyol (BPA-based polyether polyol) is a kind of polyether compounds formed by polymerization of ethylene oxide, propylene oxide with bisphenol A as the core structure. It has both high strength and flexibility because its molecular structure contains rigid aromatic rings and flexible ether bonds. It is widely used in multiple industrial fields.
Properties:

Application
1. Epoxy resin raw materials
Bisphenol A polyether can be used as the main raw material of epoxy resin for the production of high-performance epoxy resin. Application areas include electronic packaging materials, coatings, adhesives and composite matrix resins.
2. Engineering plastics and composite materials
It is used to modify engineering plastics such as polycarbonate and polysulfone to enhance mechanical strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability. And it is widely used in aerospace, automobile manufacturing and rail transportation.
3. Coatings and adhesives
Coatings: As a film-forming material for high-performance coatings, it provides excellent adhesion, chemical resistance and weather resistance, and is suitable for the surface of substrates such as metals and plastics.
Adhesives: It is used in high-performance structural adhesives and electronic packaging adhesives to improve bonding strength and environmental resistance.
4. Electronic and electrical materials
As electronic packaging materials or insulating materials, it provides excellent electrical properties and heat resistance and is widely used in circuit board coating, electronic component packaging, etc.
5. Oilfield chemicals
Polymers modified with bisphenol A polyether polyol can be used in oilfield additives such as drilling fluids and fracturing fluids to provide lubrication, high temperature resistance and anti-foaming properties.
6. High temperature resistant lubricants
Bisphenol A polyether polyol has high thermal stability and low volatility and can be used as a base oil for high temperature lubricants.
7. Special rubbers and elastomers
It can be used to produce high-performance polyurethane elastomers to improve wear resistance, flexibility and environmental resistance.

Coatings and adhesives can choose medium and low molecular weight for hydrophilic modification, improve adhesion, leveling and chemical resistance.
